Kennel Fees: There is a charge of $20.00 for each day Knuckles is kenneled at the Humane Animal Services facility. If Tiffany, along with all our help, succeeds in reversing Knuckles' death sentence, she will be required to pay the Humane Animal Services all kenneling fees before they will release Knuckles. Knuckles was impounded on March 18, 2006 and remains there still. At best it will be another two weeks at minimum before the Solano County Superior Court grants Knuckles' a new trial. Again, if Tiffany succeeds in getting Knuckles' destroy order reversed, she will be looking at a minumum of 48 days of kenneling, or $960.00.
I've set up a Paypal account to accept donations which will be earmarked to help pay for Knuckles' kennel fees, if she's released. In the horrible event that the court does not grant Knuckles a reprieve, all monies in the Save Knuckles Fund will either be returned to the donors or, if the donors so designate, given to Tiffany for help with her attorney fees. Please note that Paypal exacts a small transaction fee of 3-4% from donations made through Paypal, and these fees are non-recoverable on refunded donations.
To use Paypal, one must set up a Paypal account; this is a quick process and there is no charge for doing so. Paypal accepts both Mastercard and Visa for immediate transactions, as well as debit tranfers from checking or savings accounts. Debit transfers and e-checks typically take 3-4 business days to clear.
